Marketing Made Simple
Beyond all the jargon, debate, and confusion, I have a simple and practical way to view the marketing function as it pertains to your small businesses. You need marketing assistance if you’re asking any of the following:

  • How do I get my product/service in front of (more) people who will buy it?
  • How do I talk about my product/service that will allow me to gain customers?
  • How do I ensure my product/service meets the needs of potential customers?
  • How do I protect/maintain the customer base for my product/service in a competitive environment?

(I can help the small business owner to answer these questions.)

Relatedly, as a small business owner, you might wonder:

  • How do I manage my company’s processes so that it is positioned to succeed?
  • How do I really drive the business versus just respond to market changes and put out fires?
  • How do I free up my time to focus on what’s important?
  • How do I ensure my people are best positioned to protect/maintain the customer base?
  • How do I define a business model that works now and in the future?

(I can help with these too.)

There are other questions you might have of course that are also related to the traditional view of marketing, some of which fall outside my desired areas of specialization. These questions might be:

  • How do I price my product/service?
  • How do I know what kind of discounts I can afford to give my customers?
  • How can I capitalize on the resources—both intangible and tangible—that I already have?

(For this kind of marketing support, I would recommend engaging me to find an appropriate vendor-consultant to work with, as I do support initiatives to hire and work strategically with others.)
